Stephanie received her Masters in Social Work with a Clinical Concentration and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at George Mason University. During her Masters program at George Mason University, Stephanie completed her clinical training at the Child and Family Counseling Group, PLC. At CFCG, Stephanie provided comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services including individual, family and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

In her previous clinical training, Stephanie interned for a private, therapeutic day school where she provided individual and group therapy for high school students with emotional and learning disabilities and co-facilitated a parent support group. Stephanie has also gained extensive experience and expertise in working with adolescents and young adults with emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges at KCCS. In her clinical training at KCCS, Stephanie facilitated socialization groups and provided individual therapy, home-based counseling, and job skills training both on and offsite. In each of these settings, Stephanie has gained experience working with clients from multicultural and diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, with a variety of mood, attention, learning and behavioral challenges. She has experience in play therapy, DBT, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, crisis intervention, working collaboratively in multidisciplinary treatment teams, and advocating on behalf of clients to ensure equitable access to programs and services.
